What are the payment options under xoom?
Xoom offers two options for funding a money transfer.
Value Service is the cheapest way to send money! Pay with your U.S. bank account and save on fees. When you send a transfer, Xoom makes an electronic withdrawal from your bank account, also know as an eCheck, and sends the money to your recipient. Xoom ensures that your account information stays secure by encrypting all confidential information.
When you place a transaction using Value Service, Xoom requests the US Federal Reserve Bank to debit your checking account for the payment amount. The Federal Reserve immediately debits your checking account, and routes the funds to Xoom. This routing time is typically instantaneous, however the US government may require a clearing time of up to 5 business days for new senders. In these cases where extra time is required, it might seem that Xoom has received your money because the funds have already been debited from your account. When Xoom receives payment from the Federal Reserve, you will automatically receive an email from Xoom stating your transaction is Underway and has been released to Xoom's partners for payment.
Standard Service offers competitive fees and gives you the flexibility and security to pay using Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or PayPal. Standard Service is the fastest method of funding your Xoom transaction.
Is there a fee for using Xoom?
Answer : Yes, Xoom requires a small fee from the sender. The fee ranges from US$3.50 to a high of US$60.00 depending on the amount and the source of funds. It is cheaper if the source of funds is your own US Bank Account. Charges are higher if the source is a credit card or debit card. See the Fee Table below of Xoom.

Who shall pay these fees?
Transaction fees are paid by the customer, that's you.
However, in some cases, if the amount involved is more than US$ 1,000 DEVJOBS may allow that DEVJOBS takes care of the transaction fees. You will have to contact us or send a short message to our Manager - Mr. Carlos Ani - first to make that arrangement. Otherwise for all small remittances, it is the customer who normally shoulders the transaction fee.

How do I send money to DEVJOBS?
Answer : Just click on the Xoom-Paypal link button below.
Then, you will be asked to "Sign-In" using your Xoom account (or you need to "Sign-Up" to open a new account if you don't have one).
Then, using the secured Xoom dialog page (which looks like below), you should indicate the item number (just enter 7), the amount to be remitted in US dollars, the shipping fee which is zero (0), then click on the "Update Total" button, and lastly, indicate in the "Message to the Seller" that this is inpayment of your DEVJOBS Bill, and of course mention your DEVJOBS account number which is indicated in your bill.
Then, when you click on "Pay", you will be asked to indicate the source of your funds, and then just follow the subsequent instructions. Your payment will be sent by Xoom directly to the bank account of Carlos Ani / DEVJOBS.

When you pay us please mention clearly your DEVJOBS Account printed in the bill that you received from us. This is to ensure that we credit your account properly. Failure to mention your account number may result in long delays in crediting your account.
