Below are real feedback and comments
of members of DEVJOBS. Many of these represent common questions.
Online database of jobs
Dear Carlos and the DEVJOBS Team, Thank you for
your service. I have a suggestion (that you may be already be
considering) to make the service even more useful. Could a database
be created and accessible from
your
website, which would categorise jobs by common fields which people
could use to order or filter the data so that they can go directly
to what most interests them. e.g. Job title / Organisation name
/ Organisation web address / Job location... Employers could send
you this data to automatically populate your database and users
could search for jobs according to criteria that are most relevant
to them. thanks again for your service Stefano
REPLY: Dear Stefano, Thanks for your comments.
Several members of DEVJOBS have also suggested this earlier. It
sounds simple but it is actually quite difficult to implement
this because it will require creating and maintaining an online
database. We are short of manpower and technical resources in
order to maintain such a large and highly dynamic database.
I Found a New Job !

Carlos, I wish to thank you for your great efforts in helping
us in our search for "that right position". Your services have
resulted in my finding that position and I am most grateful to
you. I wish to encourage those out there looking for that job
to stay with it. It is there should you put the effort in to finding
it. Thanks again and all the best to you Carlos! Sincerely, -
Jim G.
REPLY: Hello Jim, I am glad that you found a job.
May God bless you. Please refer DEVJOBS to your friends and colleagues.

for more than three consecutive days due to some complicated local
reasons. But we keep trying to keep on and update the sites as
frequently as possible.

Country visa needed?
Dr.Mayank Trivedi said: "Your
website is very informative. Kindly put me on your mailing list.
I would
like
to know in which country required visa only and in which country
requires work permit?"
REPLY: Dear Dr Mayank, Yes, thank you. Many countries
require visa for entry and work permits. In order to find out
if a certain country requires such documents, then you should
search the web, looking for a the embassy's website or the website
of the foreign ministry of that country. Many local travel agents
are also updated on such matters and therefore be sure to ask
your friendly local travel agent. Carlos Ani DEVJOBS

Best Regards, Deniz Holloway, University of London" .
REPLY: Dear Deniz, Your request is already
in our queu. However, we stopped our mass mailing of jobs due

Dear Carlos, I want to learn if the problems with
the mails are restored. I just subscribed again but the notice
on your website is still not updated. Please inform , Best Regards

Is your homepage updated?
Heidi said: "Even though I keep
refreshing, the home page is stuck with the latest job listing
being
15
Feb. Any suggestions?"
Dear Heidi, This is a common problem reported by
our members. The common solution is to simply click on the "refresh"
button in your browser or click
on the reload button in our homepage in order to see
the latest version of our homepage and our latest job listings.
Sometimes there are problems with the cache kept in your local
Internet Service Provider. Furthermore, there are a few links
in the website that are not yet activated or where the target
page is not yet fully completed. That is because we are still
writing up the page at the time you owsed. Simply wait and go
back to the site after a few days to see those latest jobs.

the every week the mail from you, but it stoped. Your system is
down or it is my? Is your database damaged? Please let me know.
Grace"
Dear Grace, This is Carlos Ani of DEVJOBS. We suffered
a
major technical problem
- mainly a virus attack on our computers. In the meantime, please
simply browse our website for the latest job listings. Regards
Carlos
