I applied but did not get any reply from the employer

Jaime N of the Philippines said: "Sometime last November last year I have forwarded my letter of intent and subsequently my duly filled in application form to a volunteer sending organization, but up to now I have not heard yet of any action on my offer of service. I wish to take this opportunity to convey to all concerned that any information pertinent to my application would be appreciated so much indeed.

REPLY: Dear Jaime, Employers usually can not and does not reply to all job applicants. That is because they receive hundreds - sometimes thousands - of applications through the Internet. They only contact those in their short list of candidates. If you were not contacted, then that means you are not on their short list. Sorry, but that what it implies. Better luck next time. - Carlos
