This position
requires a BA/S or equivalent in accounting or relevant field. Two years
experience with not-for-profit fund accounting including knowledge of rules and
regulations governing the compliance/regulatory management of grants from US
Government and other agencies is highly desirable. Two years experience with MS

understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, financial reporting,

in search of an experienced Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to lead the
monitoring and evaluation aspects of its' umbrella grant program, entitled
Economic and Community Revitalization Activity (ECRA). The Monitoring and
Evaluation Specialist will be responsible for monitoring, documenting,
evaluating and reporting program implementation and grantee progress in planned
activities using established monitoring and evaluation criteria and indicators
to insure compliance with donor policy, procedure and reporting requirements,
and track and measure program impact.
This position
requires an MA/S in social sciences, humanities, statistics
or other related field or equivalent and 5 years of international development
experience. Two years of experience with developing and instituting monitoring and evaluation systems and
providing technical assistance and training in various aspects of monitoring
and evaluation is required. Two years of experience with: MS Excel, MS Word,
and ACCESS is required. Demonstrated attention to
community participation in all aspects of program monitoring and evaluation is
necessary. Umbrella-grant experience and knowledge of USAID requirements and
regulations are preferred. Two years of overseas experience is required, with

consulting business working in microenterprise development, seeks a
Microenterprise Research Associate to guide an Internet-based information
processing system for developing countries.
Duties include
collecting, maintaining, analyzing and reporting micro enterprise information
worldwide. Information is collected from institutions and companies that
provide financial, business development services and policy development
services to micro enterprises. This position will oversee preparation of
questionnaires, data collection using Internet-based methods, data management
and document management. Upon request, this person will conduct research about
microenterprise development activities worldwide using internal and external
data sources. Other duties will be to manage and replicate databases; produce

An AusAID funded Project in Inner Mongolia – Inner
Mongolia Grasslands Management Project Phase 2 – is looking for a locally
engaged Community Development/Training Specialist for 45 months beginning as
soon as possible.
This person will work alongside an Australian
specialist, local counterpart, and a small inter-disciplinary team (including
technical experts in curriculum development, farming systems, agricultural extension,
forage production, M&E and Remote Sensing) to develop a participatory
system of user rights to support the Government's grassland management policy.
Most of this person's time will be spent at the sumu, gacha and aili level
working with herders and farmers, especially poorer herders and farmers and
women. However, this person will also be expected to work at the banner and
league level.
For this position a woman is preferred. Ideally the
person should be fluent in Mongolian but Chinese is acceptable. The person
should also have a background in the fields of social or rural development and
graduate level qualifications in the social sciences. Nevertheless, someone
with considerable experience (10 years or more) in the fields of social or
rural development would also be acceptable.
