Looking for a challenge? Interested in developing natural resource management legislation? A new opportunity exists in the Department of Natural Resources and Environment's Legislation Branch for a person who is interested in developing and drafting natural resource management legislation. The position provides an opportunity to make a substantial contribution to the sustainable management of Victoria's natural resources, while gaining valuable hands on legislative experience.

The Legislation Branch provides expert advice on legislation matters and is responsible for the management and co-ordination of the Department's legislation program. The Branch prepares, in conjunction with relevant policy officers, legislation across a broad range of key natural resource and environmental issues, including fisheries, agriculture, forests, flora and fauna, water and minerals and petroleum. We are looking for someone who either has some experience in the development of legislation or is keen to learn from the experienced officers in the Branch.

JUSTICE SYSTEM STRATEGIST Needed


DPK seeks an experienced justice system strategy advisor for a long-term position to support justice system reform activity in Kosovo. Advisor will work with legal community and civil society to define the structure and functions of the future Kosovar justice system and to develop an action plan, milestones, and practical and participatory mechanisms for the transition from the current structure under the United Nations Interim Administrative Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) to a fully "Kosovarized" system.

Other duties for this position include:

>> Lead participatory process for drafting or revising legislations needed for the transition

>> Engage and consult extensively with the Kosovar stakeholders – general public, NGOs, legal professionals -- and UNMIK (especially Pillar One) to develop the action plan and guide the transition process

>> Provide assistance as required for the conceptual formulation and drafting of new laws and secondary legislation, or amendments thereto, relating to the structure and functions of the judiciary and other legal sector institutions and to the procedures under which the courts operate

>> Provide assistance as requires to determine the appropriate organizational structure and functions of new or restructured legal institutions

>> Make operational any new or restructured legal institutions and/or new or revised procedures for case processing adopted by the Kosovar government.

Applicants must have excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of Albanian and Serbian a plus. Applicants with law degrees and prior justice system reform and regional experience desired. Opportunity Description

The technological leader in financial print, digital printing and electronic delivery of personalized communication solutions, is currently seeking a Director Network Operations for its corporate Technology organization.  The Director provides strategic direction regarding the company's Global Frame Relay network as well as traditional, B2B, and B2C Data Center networking infrastructures - including disaster recovery and business continuity networking plans. The Director leads a team of people responsible for the wide area network operation and provides voice systems consulting to regional operations.  The team is also responsible for managing the LAN environment for data centers located in the NJ/NY area.

Requirements

In addition to demonstrated leadership ability, candidates should have a minimum of 8-10 years experience in IT with a broad range of network systems planning, analysis and implementations.   Additional desired experience includes: 2-4 years experience with Data Center systems, 2-4 years of experience implementing eBusiness, eCommerce, B2B and B2C networking technologies; and working knowledge of Enterprise Network and Security standards.  A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or engineering or related discipline is required.

Opportunity Description

The technological leader in financial print, digital printing and electronic delivery of personalized communication solutions, is currently seeking a Director Network Operations for its corporate Technology organization.  The Director provides strategic direction regarding the company’s Global Frame Relay network as well as traditional, B2B, and B2C Data Center networking infrastructures – including disaster recovery and business continuity networking plans. The Director leads a team of people responsible for the wide area network operation and provides voice systems consulting to regional operations.  The team is also responsible for managing the LAN environment for data centers located in the NJ/NY area.

Requirements

In addition to demonstrated leadership ability, candidates should have a minimum of 8-10 years experience in IT with a broad range of network systems planning, analysis and implementations.   Additional desired experience includes: 2-4 years experience with Data Center systems, 2-4 years of experience implementing eBusiness, eCommerce, B2B and B2C networking technologies; and working knowledge of Enterprise Network and Security standards.  A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or engineering or related discipline is required.
