the comparison of relative performance of various funds easier.

Recommending appropriate procedures
for ensuring the transparency, propriety of transactions and deals by the
various funds (due diligence, internal audit process, and procedures), and for
setting up appropriate mechanisms for redressing investors' grievances.

Reviewing the present
investment/portfolio management systems of various funds and introducing
measures that can enhance the systems and processes.
10. Reviewing the administration of investments/securities of various funds
and recommending measures for strengthening the integrity of the current
systems.
11. Drafting a handbook of standards of best practices for mutual funds
operations.
12. Recommending measures to upgrade the professionalism of market

(APWLD), based in
APWLD is a regional network of women's groups and
individuals in the Asia Pacific, committed to enabling women to use law as an
instrument of social change for equality, justice and development. It
works for the promotion of women's human rights, as codified in UN
international human rights instruments, including the Convention on the
Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), and the
Beijing Platform for Action. It has six programmes, namely: Feminist Legal
Theory and Practice; Violence against Women; Women's Participation in
Political Processes; Labour and Migration; Women and Environment; and

iii) Have at least three years experience in
community service or rural based development related activities.
iv)
Demonstrate leadership skills and potential.
v) Pursue a
post-graduate degree that will directly enhance their leadership capacity in an
academic, policy, practical, or artistic field corresponding to one or more of
the Foundation's program areas*.
vi) Present a
plan specifying how they will apply their studies to social problems or issues
in their own countries.
vii) Be
committed to working on these issues after the fellowship period.

Society & Culture; Media; Arts & Culture; Human rights; International
cooperation; Governance & Civil society.
