The Chief of Party will be responsible for all aspects of project management and oversight of the SUCCESS Alliance, a USAID-funded public-private partnership with the cocoa industry to improve cocoa production and marketing in Indonesia. Specific Tasks:

•With other staff and consultants, develop and manage sustainability plan, focussing on increased commercialization of activities and local private sector involvement.
•Oversee monitoring and evaluation system and efforts to make necessary changes to M&E reporting and design to meet USAID requirements for economic impact data.

•Oversee closeout process of SUCCESS Alliance activities and offices.

Job description: ACDI/VOCA seeks a Country Representative and Chief of Party for its new Title II food aid project in the departments of Copan, Ocotopeque, and Santa Barbara in Western Honduras. The COP will be responsible for the oversight, implementation, and coordination of a sub-grant form World Vision to ACDI/VOCA for a 2-year coffee farming and agri-business project.
Over the course of this project, ADCI/VOCA will train 2,000 smallholder coffee farmers using the Farmer Field School approach. Training will focus on maximizing production quantity and quality, proper post-harvest handling techniques, and organic farm management skills. Training in sampling, business management, processing, and marketing will also be provided to producer groups of coffee, with a focus on production and export of specialty coffee. Training will also be provided to 600 fruit and vegetable producer groups in the development and implementation of market-oriented production plans.
Duties Include:
•Establish ACDI/VOCA office in Honduras in
coordination with Headquarters Office and within requirements of the Government
of Honduras
•Oversee coordination between all ACDI/VOCA Honduras activities
•Collaborate with consortium partners to coordinate

The International Center for Research on Women is a non-profit organization that seeks to improve the lives of women in poverty, advance women’s equality and human rights, and contribute to the broader economic and social well-being.
THE CORE INITIATIVE:
The CORE (Communities Responding to the HIV/AIDS Epidemic) initiative is a USAID-funded program whose mission is to support an inspired, effective and inclusive response to the causes and consequences of HIV/AIDS by strengthening the capacity of community and faith-based groups worldwide. Leading this initiative is CARE USA in partnership with the International Center for Research on Women (ICRW), the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's Center for Communication Programs (CCP), and the World Council of Churches (WCC).
The CORE Initiative has been requested by USAID/Uganda to implement a four-year program under PEPFAR to work in partnership with the Ministry of Gender, Labor and Social Development (MGLSD) and the Uganda AIDS Commission (UAC) to support capacity-building for the implementation of the overall Orphans and Other Vulnerable Children (OVC) strategy in Uganda as well as a Youth Prevention Sub-grants and Capacity Building Program. RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Manila based NGO Forum on ADB, a non-profit advocacy organization, seeks an Executive Director to play a leading role in continuing the Forum's advocacy, research and networking activities.
The NGO Forum's mission is to maximize the effectiveness of grass roots, national level, and international campaigns relating to adverse impacts of the policies and projects of the Asian Development Bank (ADB). In addition to research and advocacy of the ADB, the Forum seeks to bolster the power of its network members through outreach, information dissemination and capacity building.
The Executive Director is expected to work closely with the Forum's International Committee (IC), which includes representation from members of ongoing ADB-related campaigns.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong analytic and communications skills and ability to work fluently in English are essential.
- Knowledge and understanding of international networks and how they operate would also be required, including an understanding of and sympathy towards democratic decision making processes.
- In addition, the successful candidate should have some knowledge of International Financial Institutions (IFIs), human rights mechanisms including the UN, and the environmental and social concerns that NGOs and People's Movements often use to analyse IFIs.
- Demonstrated experience in Fundraising as well as experience in participatory management are also highly desireable.

THE ORGANIZATION:
The Women's Global Network for Reproductive Rights is an autonomous network of groups and individuals in every continent who aim to achieve and support reproductive rights for women.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic Coordinator and Program Development Officer to join our small multicultural team. The office is based in Amsterdam and the working language is English. Starting date: 03-01-2005.
The Coordinator will ensure the operational and financial follow-up of the various programmes, establishes procedures with the team, supervises personnel, represents the organisation with regards to the various financial partners and other relevant organisations, participates in the elaboration of mission's development strategy, in conjunction with the team and other relevant parts. She will be responsible to bring various parts together and take final decisions, where necessary. The Coordinator's position is the equivalent of a Director's position. The Coordinator is accountable to the National Board.
The initial contract is for one year, with possibility for renewing, according to performance.
The Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and development of the organization. Duties include preparing annual budgets, overseeing the organization's projects, dealing with the fundraising needs, etc. Other tasks will include supervising staff and providing opportunities for staff development, outreach to board members, volunteers, and interns. The Coordinator, with the National Board, is responsible for the overall financial stability of the organization.

POSITION SUMMARY:
To help realize the goals and aims of WGNRR by securing the necessary funding, we are looking for a Program Development Officer. The initial contract is 32 hours/week, for six months, with the possibility of renewing according to performance. The number of hours will also be reviewed according to finances available. The Program Development Officer is accountable to the Coordinator.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for refining and further developing WGNRR's fundraising strategies-plan (short, medium and long term).
- Responsible for grant applications (writing and submitting) in cooperation with members of the team.
- To research funds possibilities.
- Responsible for actively maintaining contact and relations with national and international funds & donors and to establish relations with new donors.
- Writing and submitting annual financial and narrative reports to donors.
- To stay informed about international trends and development that affect the policy of WGNRR and it's ability to attract funds.
- To represent WGNRR in the Netherlands and abroad.
- To work alongside the Coordinator regarding annual operational/working plans and reviews of budget by organizing and support the process.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Affinity with the policy of WGNRR.
- Professional experience in bringing financial stability for an NGO directed at social change. Experience of networks is a plus.
- Relevant experience and ability to translate the policy of WGNRR into grant applications.
- Good knowledge of finances in order to relate budgets and operational plans to funds needs.
- Good networking and lobbying skills.
- Eloquent communication skills (to represent the organization, conduct meetings, etc).
- Proficiency in English is a must - writing and verbally. Other languages is a plus.
- Team player with a healthy sense of responsibility.
- Affinity with working in a small team.
- Excellent skills in setting priorities.
- Readiness to travel abroad a few times a year.
- Next to being a good organizer we expect you to be able to make decisions and to have problem solving skills.
