ICRW is seeking an HIV/AIDS Program Specialist to serve as program coordinator for an innovative project sensitizing health care providers on issues of stigma, discrimination and gender-based violence in the context of HIV and AIDS.
The two-year project will adapt and refine the Stigma Toolkit developed by ICRW to be used with health care providers in Andhra Pradesh. The project will be located in Ichchapuram, Srikakulam District, Andhra Pradesh and will be undertaken in collaboration with Bhoruka Public Welfare Trust.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Post graduate degree in social sciences or public health.
- Five years programmatic experience, including management responsibilities in the areas of HIV and AIDS, gender and violence issues, and community mobilization.
- Strong organizational, analytical and communications (written and oral) skills in English and Telegu.
- Experience in training technical professionals.
- Experience with collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team, organize, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS-Windows, PowerPoint, Excel and Internet applications required; familiarity with statistical packages like SPSS desirable.
- Expertise in tools development.
- Must be willing to reside in Ichchapuram for the duration of project.

12) Research Associate, HIV/AIDS and Development Unit // The
SUMMARY:
A Research Associate is needed to provide technical support to the HIV/AIDS and Development Unit. The portfolio of work includes: research and programmatic work on HIV-stigma reduction, creation and testing of stigma indicators, monitoring and evaluation of projects, and undertaking capacity-building and technical assistance.
The position requires up to 25 percent effort for international travel to countries where ICRW is implementing projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Undertake quantitative and qualitative data analysis for assigned projects;
- Conduct literature reviews, secondary data analysis, and synthesis for papers, proposals and presentations;
- Contribute significantly to the writing and editing of professional papers, publications and presentations;
- Contribute to the development of proposals;
- Assume general management responsibility on assigned projects;
- Provide technical assistance to field projects;
- Coordinate with local and international partners;
- Represent ICRW at selected external meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Masters degree in demography, public health, development studies or a related field in the social sciences;
- Minimum 2-3 years professional experience in the field of development, preferably at least one year post-Master's professional
