Manager -

Secondary
Education Manager -
A Secondary Education
Manager will oversee the initial establishment of a primary education program
in Save the Children's five areas of operation. These programs will focus on
the 3-4 month pre-service training of primary
teachers and the development of follow up and in-service training. S/he will coordinate closely with other managers within the education sector covering school reconstruction, distribution of materials, and the development of the school management committees.
Responsibilities include liaising with the government and local teacher training institutes to develop a primary school training program; implement the primary school teacher program; in coordination with the Secondary School Program and their field officer, develop follow-up support; collaborate with the Shelter Sector Head on the construction of the government allocated primary schools; and establish a system to monitor capacity building of teacher training. Bachelor's Degree in education or closely related field; 4-5 years' work experience; extensive experience establishing teacher training structures in a stable or reconstruction setting; knowledge of primary school curriculum development and the implementation of training programs; extensive Training of Trainers and teacher training; good knowledge and understanding of education policy issues; good written and spoken English with special preference given to Bahasa Indonesia.

Psychosocial
Manager -
A Psychosocial Manager to have overall operational responsibility for Save the Children's Psychosocial Structured Activities (PSSA) program in Aceh. S/he is responsible for the development of PSSA operational plans and ensures district government and other key stakeholders understand and support the PSSA approach.
Responsibilities include conducting community assessments to identify communities and schools in need of psychosocial programs; lead discussions with school administrators, community leaders and religious leaders so as to facilitate access by at risk children to psychosocial programs; develop and maintain supportive relationships with local government and NGO implementing partners; ensure overall administration of the PSSA program; and supervise trainings and field activities across districts. DAI’s Agriculture and Agribusiness Practice Area (AAPA) is seeking a well-organized, self-motivated individual to serve as a development staff member in the home office, specializing in technical areas related to agribusiness development. The preferred candidate will have worked at least 5 years in a food industry-related business, and will be familiar with the various parts of the wholesale and retail supply chains.
