Summary: The Program Monitoring and Evaluation Officer reports to the

• Lead and coordinate USAID/Sudan
Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation efforts; develop relevant and useful
standardized assessment, monitoring and evaluation tools; design and implement
training and guidance tools for

data quality assessments to support indicator reporting;
• Serve as the Mission’s primary technical

Qualifications:
• Minimum of a bachelors degree and 7
years relevant experience OR Masters degree and 5 years relevant experience;
• Demonstrated technical expertise and
experience in establishing and implementing performance monitoring and
evaluation indicators and systems for international assistance. Relevant
experience in a donor agency environment preferred;
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding
of USG international assistance programs, culture and management objectives and
demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and distribute information to
implementing partners and relevant agencies;
• Demonstrated technical experience
providing guidance and establishing and/or refining systems to track
office-wide performance. Experience preparing documentation,
maintaining tracking systems to monitor performance and impact, and/or
