Responsibilities:
Advise and assist in the design,
development and implementation of grants under contract
Advise and assist in program monitoring
and evaluation in the context of grants management policies, procedures, and
practices
Analyze and evaluate grant application,
proposals and awards to ensure adherence to grants management policies
Ensure proper negotiation of the terms
and conditions for sub-grants and reviews and analyzes budget estimates
consistent with USAID grant and program requirements
Facilitate creation and meetings of a
Grants Committee
Qualifications:
5+ years experience in grants design and
management as well as oversight of subcontracting
Prior experience managing USAID
contracts and grants, including grants under contract
In depth knowledge of USAID rules and
regulations
5+ years field-based development
experience required;

upcoming USAID supported strategic communication and public awareness program
regarding issues related to Alternative Development activities in

Work with the Chief of Party to develop,
implement and evaluate communication strategies and outreach efforts to
increase awareness of Alternative Development programs implemented in Colombia;
Develop activities directed to raise
public awareness through the production of information, communication and
education materials;
Design and implement innovative

will work to improve health care delivery through the existing health system in
Responsibilities:

Assume primary responsibility for assisting the clinical implementation, record
management and follow-up of HIV care and ART (Antiretroviral Treatment)
management, including training and research activities with special focus in
the development of sustainable systems.
-
Coordinate and/or oversee HAIs activities regarding
training, supervision, follow-up and assessment of HIV and anti-retroviral care
offered to HIV+ persons.
-
Provide technical assistance on the integration of the tuberculosis and HIV
care programs.
-
Provide technical assistance and/or support other HAI field office staff.
-
Work with the Ministry of Health (MOH) and NGOs to support the goals of the HIV
program.

Support the health facilities and districts under your responsibility on issues
concerning the strengthening of program monitoring and evaluation.

Apply tools for quality control and detection of adherence and treatment
failures.

Coordinate plans and activities with other HAI Clinical Advisors.

Attend relevant program meetings and represent HAI, as needed.

With MOH officials, assist the introduction of comprehensive care and treatment
for HIV into health facilities, including development of workplans,
provision of equipment, and designing patient flow mechanisms for efficient
follow-up services for HIV+ patients.

Promote the on-going training of Mozambican medical doctors, nurses and all
other staff involved in the running of the ART program in facilities managing
the day-to-day care of patients.

Provide technical assistance and mentoring to MOH physicians, physicians
assistants, pharmacy technicians, logisticians and social workers to support
social and community outreach with community based organizations.

Support the district health departments in the formulation, implementation and
follow up of their local health plans.
-
Collaborate in the creation of operations research protocols.
-
Report to HAIs ART program manager in each
respective province and work in collaboration with other Clinical Advisors and
the MOH partners.
-
Submit monthly reports as required by funding agencies.
-
Prepare manuscripts for publication based on project work.

Participate as a member of the ART team in the use of funds budgeted for the
program

Pro Poor Forestry Programme (PPFP)
The
main activity in the FP sector is the Pro Poor Forestry Programme in the North
Central Agro-ecological Zone (PPFP). PPFP builds on experiences gained and
lessons learnt from successful SNV programs in the North-Central Agro
Ecological Zone (NCAEZ) region.
PPFP
focuses on forest dependent households that obtained land-titles under
