Project/Proposal
Summary:
MSI
was awarded a three-year contract with USAID/Sudan named SUPPORT (Services
Under Program and Project Offices for Results Tracking), and tasked with
responsibility for executing many functions normally associated with the
Missions Program and Communications offices.
As a part of the SUPPORT program, MSI is currently establishing an
office compound suitable for USAID and partner meetings in Southern Sudan,
hiring technical and support staff and facilitating VIP visits.
Position
Summary:
We
are seeking an energetic, professional and organized Intentional Recruiter to
join our Sudan project. This person will
be based in Juba, Sudan and work closely with the Chief of Party and USAID to
coordinate the hiring and on-boarding of locals, expatriates and consultants
during our program scale-up. This is a
short-term (3 months) assignment expected to start in November 08.
Responsibilities:
Full cycle staff recruitment, including:
Drafting/editing position descriptions, screening and interviewing candidates,
collecting and confirming biodatas, checking
references and negotiating salaries for a variety of field-based technical and
administrative positions;
Work closely with the project CoP and USAID to determine needs, coordinate interviews and
gather feedback on candidates;
Serve as the main point of contact for
candidates, keeping them up to date on their status and gathering required
documents;
Guide and advise hiring managers in
staffing options and the recruitment process
Job
qualifications : Qualifications:
Prior experience conducting full-cycle,
in-country recruitment for local staff, preferably in a project launch or
scale-up environment, required;
Experience recruiting USAID funded
international development projects and in-depth knowledge of
recruitment-related USAID regulations and procedures required;
Strong organizational skills and the
ability to meet and work well under deadlines;
Ability to work independently, take
ownership for your work and coordinate diverse and far flung teams
Must be able to use a computerized,
web-based recruitment system (Taleo)
English fluency required, Arabic
language helpful;
Prior experience in Sudan or other
hardship environment preferred;

Position
Summary: Management Systems International (MSI) is now taking applications for
its Spring Internship Program.
Internships can be Full-time (40 hours/week) or Part-time (20
hours/week) and include a stipend.
MSI\'s
Internship program is for undergraduate and graduate students who have an
interest and experience in international development. Interns will work in MSIs Project Management
Unit. The goal of the internship program is to allow students to learn and grow
professionally during their internships and to provide each student with
opportunities to use and refine their own skills. MSI works to ensure that interns are
well-engaged in the MSI work community.
Responsibilities:
Upon arrival at MSI, interns are given a brief orientation introducing them to
some of the tools that they will need for their internship. Project Management
interns are assigned to work on specific MSI projects as well as support tasks
primarily focusing on logistical, contractual and financial management. Typical tasks may include:

Research budget information;
Reviewing field expense reports;

building project in Iraq. The USAID Tatweer project
(development in Arabic) provides comprehensive assistance to Iraqi ministries

Job
Description/Position Summary:
Maintain a regular work relationship at

Burkina currently focus its work on poverty reduction through two major impact
areas: Sustainable and Equitable Production, Income and Employment (PIE), as
well as Effective, Efficient and Increased Access to and Delivery of Basic
Services (BASE). Governance is an important cross-cutting theme.
Sustainability, gender equity and social inclusion are key elements of good
governance. SNV contributes to poverty reduction by providing capacity
development services to partner organisations at meso or intermediate level in order to improve their
performance, so that they can make better deliberate choices, deliver
appropriate services to their members and defend the interests of poor people.
To
contribute to the fight against desertification and make household energy

main responsibilities will be:
A.
Advisory Services
Support clients in developing and
implementing successful biogas/RE dissemination programmes
Support the operational management of
the DBP (Domestic Biogas Program) through coaching of and advice to its project
coordinator and other staff members
Lead the implementation of the SNV
Burkina Faso strategy for Biogas, and translate it into continued support
activities to a wide range of actors
Provide client focused quality capacity
building advisory services to multi-actors and Local Capacity Builders (LCBs)
in Biogas
Initiate and contributes to regional
activities within his/her field of expertise
Stimulate market and product innovation
by the team
Facilitate evaluation and impact

Duties and Accountabilities:
