Project/Proposal
Summary:
MSI
seeks a seasoned Chief of Party for a multi-year project to reform local
governance in Pakistan.
Position
Summary:
The
Chief of Party will provide the overall technical and administrative management
for the project and maintain accountability to headquarters office in the
United States and to USAID in the field.
Responsibilities:
• Provide overall leadership for the
implementation of the project;
• Serve as principal liaison with USAID,
counterparts and other donors;
• Oversee fulfillment of all contract
delivery requirements including all reports;
• Provide technical inputs in areas of
his/her expertise in local governance;
• Oversee internal management of the
project including the budget and performance monitoring and evaluation.
Job
qualifications :
• Demonstrated management and leadership
skills working with large and complex programs;
• Substantial technical expertise in local
government capacity building;
• Experience working in South Asia and
related knowledge of South Asian governance issues;
• Experience managing and reporting on
large USAID-funded programs;
• Specific experience
in Pakistan a plus;
• Knowledge of Urdu a plus.

Position
Summary:
MSI
is seeking a Benefits Administrator to manage our employee benefits and 401(k)
Plan. The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the
day-to-day operations of group benefit programs (group health, dental, vision,
short-term and long-term disability, worker’s compensation, life insurance,
travel and accident plan, flexible spending plan and 401(k)).
Responsibilities:
• Review, update and implement an
efficient, accurate and employee friendly process for administering benefits;
• Administer various employee benefit
programs, such as medical, dental and life insurance, accident and disability,
flexible spending accounts, transit and retirement plans;
• Initiate medical and option forms;
arrange for their completion and submission within time limits;
• Implement new benefit programs; arrange
and conduct employee information presentations and enrollments;
• Set up and monitor employee files, and
maintain an accurate tracking system to ensure that all appropriate benefits
are offered and administered correctly;
• Verify the calculation of the monthly
premiums statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical
data relative to premiums, claims, and costs;
• Serve as primary contact for plan
vendors and third party administrators; resolve administrative problems with
the carrier representatives;
• Provide excellent internal customer
service to MSI employees;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Job
qualifications :
• Minimum of three years experience in
employee benefit administration; experience in an
international development environment helpful;
• Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources or
related field;
• Superior organization skills and
attention to detail; ability to accurately maintain complex employee files and
detailed records required;
• Strong customer service orientation and
the ability to work well with colleagues from around the world;
• Knowledge of all pertinent federal and
state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending
affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, SECTION
125, Workers Compensation, Medicare, OBRA, and Social Security and DOL
requirements;
• Strong computer and database skills
required, particularly in Excel.
Experience with HRIS systems strongly preferred (Deltek
a plus);
• Interest in and ability to take the
initiative in suggesting new programs, procedures and practices as related to
HR and benefits administration.

description : Within the Common Code for the Coffee
Community Association (4C), producers, trade & industry and civil society

the social, environmental and economic conditions for the people making their
living with coffee. The 4C Association is managed by a secretariat of a dozen
persons. The head office is located in Bonn, Germany, with regional offices in
coffee producer regions. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Director
Operations (f/m) to manage the operations of the 4C Secretariat.
Responsibilities
Under
the general guidance of the Executive Board and direct supervision of the
Executive Director, the Director Operations is responsible for the
implementation, management, supervision and evaluation of all operational
activities of the 4C Secretariat, including verification, administration and
the regional offices in accordance with the standards and procedures set out by
the organization. As member of the management, the Director Operations reports
to the Executive Director and closely collaborates with the Director Support
Services. He/she participates in strategic planning and budgeting initiatives
within the framework given by the Council and Executive Board as decision
making organs.
Tasks
Tasks
include
-
Managing and coordinating the processes and mechanisms of the 4C Association,
including membership and financial administration, verification and licensing
processes etc.;
-
Managing of Human Resources at the 4C Secretariat in consensus with the
Executive Director;
-
Optimizing internal processes and work flows, especially with regard to the
administrative integration of the Regional Offices (currently Uganda,
Nicaragua, Brazil);
-
Managing and steering of budget and finances of the not-for profit
organization;
-
Steering the further organizational development of the 4C Secretariat;
-
Managing the internal coordination of the implementation of a data management
system;
-
Coordinating of 4C meetings and conferences (General Assembly, Council etc.).
Job
qualifications : We expect candidates to have the
necessary skills and managerial experience and seniority from similar positions.
A balanced mix of leadership and team-orientation is required. Further
requirements include:

Professional knowledge and experience with not-for-profit membership
organization operation and management and business processes;
-
Skills in financial management, budgeting and controlling, including adequate
experience of relevant tools to allocate resources consistent with the budget
and strategy;
-
Proficiency in small office communication and international environment;
-
Experience in guiding and managing personnel in a team by providing leadership
and individual motivation;
-
Adequate knowledge in human resources management and organizational
development;
-
Experience in sustainability aspects would be an added advantage.
Qualifications

Degree in Nonprofit Management, (International) Business Administration, Organisational Development, Economics or Socio-Economics or
comparable education;
