MSI is seeking an experienced Administration and Logistics Coordinator to handle administration and logistics for events.

Responsibilities:

•        Responsible for logistics and coordination of Mission events;

•        Oversee field site visits with staff and official visitors as well as international travel and logistics for team members and official visitors;

•        Perform other lead administrative and clerical duties as needed

Job qualifications :

•        Experience working in logistically difficult and post-conflict countries with security issues is

   preferred;

•        Strong oral and written communication skills in a professional environment;

•        Experience in lead office administrative practices and procedures;

•        Experience in Afghanistan or conflict environment preferred.

Education : Bachelors degree

Responsibilities:

•        Lead program implementation and oversee all technical and managerial decisions related to monitoring and evaluation systems, performance management, strategic communications and public information products;

•        Responsible for the production of deliverables related to development results reporting and analysis, data collection and reporting;

•        Provide technical guidance in relevant program areas;

•        Recruit and supervise short-term U.S., third country and local experts for evaluations, monitoring;

•        Represent MSI in meetings with senior Mission, Embassy, CODELs/VIPs and GIRoA officials;

•        Ensure quality oversight of all products provided by SUPPORT, including those from short-term experts for evaluations and other assignments

Job qualifications :

•        15 years of international development programming and management experience;

•        Prior Chief of Party experience on USAID funded projects;

•        Demonstrated technical expertise in program evaluation and design, along with substantial experience selecting and managing teams of evaluators;

•        Experience facilitating and coordinating workshops and coordinating logistics preferred;

•        Excellent development analysis and communications skills;

•        Experience in Afghanistan or similar environment strongly preferred;

•        United States Citizenship required.
